Legal Reqirements
The legal process to make your marriage official in your own country is very simple. Our bilingual team assists you all the way, making for a smooth process.
Both the Bride & Groom simply present the following documents to the British Embassy in Antalya:
*Full Birth Certificates (extracts or photocopies are not accepted)
*Passport (with at least 6 months validity remaining)
*Certificate of non-impediment (with 6 months validity)
*If previously married, a certificate of divorce or a death certificate of former spouse
These documents will be translated into Turkish by the embassy allowing for the official paperwork to be drawn up. Be assured that we do all the organising and the costs are included in all packages.
In the days following your wedding, we accompany you to the British Embassy in Fethiye to register your marriage, again a simple and quick process.
You need to be in Turkey at least 3 working days before your wedding and 1 working day after.
For non-British couples the process is similar and exact details may be sought from us or your own Foreign Office. Again, you are accompanied by our staff through the Turkish process. We are proud to have married couples of a variety of nationalities.
